Warriors Fans Killed in Shooting After Playoff Loss

A pair of Golden State Warriors fans, on their way home from Oracle Arena after their team was eliminated from the NBA Playoffs, were killed in a shooting Thursday night.

Warriors

Christopher Beardon and Terrance Marks were headed home in a white Porsche Panamera when someone in a SUV pulled alongside their vehicle on Interstate 880 and opened fire with a semi-automatic.

Beardon - who was behind the wheel - was killed by the gunfire; Marks was hit by an oncoming car after the Porsche hit a guardrail and he either fled or was ejected.

He was also shot in the drive-by.

Police are asking other fans in attendance for help and studying surveillance video in an attempt to narrow down the suspect list.

They do not believe it was a random act of road rage.
