The long-rumored Breaking Bad spinoff is a go at AMC.
It will focus on Bob Odenkirk's hilariously shady lawyer character Saul Goodman under the working title Better Call Saul, according to reports.
The network confirmed the Breaking Bad spinoff and that a licensing deal has been reached between Sony Pictures Television and creator Vince Gilligan.
The one-hour drama will serve as a prequel, focusing on "the evolution" of Saul "before he ever became Walter White’s lawyer," according to AMC.
Saul's fate - and everyone else's - remains a mystery as Breaking Bad nears the finish line September 29. Only three episodes of the drama remain.
