Gwyneth Paltrow is reportedly shaking in her high heels about a critical new expose by Vanity Fair, and not just because she cut off a school bus last week.
She's warned her A-list friends not to talk to the magazineâs reporters if they attempt to ask about her, or to work with the magazine ever again. Why?
âVanity Fair is threatening to put me on the cover of their magazine,â Paltrow wrote in a mass e-mail to friends and associates, according to the N.Y. Times.
âIf you are asked for quotes or comments, please decline."
"Also, I recommend you all never do this magazine again.â
Once known for fawning puff pieces on Hollywood elite, Vanity Fair has gone hard in recent months, with revealing pieces on Tom Cruise and Scientology.
The magazine also reported on Brad Pittâs struggles to produce his zombie movie, World War Z, and its newfound critical edge has ruffled feathers.
As such, Gwyneth declined to cooperate with the magazine for a cover story featuring her, and they responded that theyâd happily proceed without her.
Editor-in-chief Graydon Carter said, âWe wouldnât be doing our job if there wasnât a little bit of tension between Vanity Fair and its subjects."
"In any given week, I can expect to hear from a disgruntled subject in Hollywood, Washington, or on Wall Street. Thatâs the nature of the beast.â
What do you think VF will focus on regarding Gwyneth?
