Kristin Cavallari is in the best shape of her life, and her fiance Jay Cutler wouldn't have it any other way. "I'm lucky to have Jay who would rather have a couple pounds on me," the former reality star tells the latest issue of Disfunkshion. "He tells me when I'm too skinny. That helps."

"I take care of myself, go to the gym, eat well," she continues. "There are good and bad days."

The Laguna Beach vet, 26, and the Chicago Bears quarterback, 29, are parents to son Camden, 8 months. Though Cavallari's pregnancy was unplanned, both parents gleefully stepped up to the plate -- even before their son's August 2012 arrival. "Having Jay is really helpful," Cavallari says. "It's important to talk about parenting philosophies before having a child. You want to go in knowing how to raise them to avoid the arguments that can ensue. Being good parents is our top priority."

Cavallari has made several sacrifices to be a hands-on parent. "Being a mom has definitely changed my priorities. It's all about him," the Illinois-based shoe designer tells Disfunkshion. "I've turned down jobs that would have kept me in L.A. because I want to be there for him."
