Wade Robson has sent a very clear message to Joe Jackson: Zip it... or else!
The choreographer - who has come under fire for accusing Michael Jackson of molestation - sent a cease and desist letter to that family's patriarch on May 25.
It demands that Joe stop slandering Robson (he told TMZ last week that Wade is being paid to lie) or face legal consequences.
Writes Robson's attorney in the document to Jackson:
"Your statement is particularly reprehensible in light of the fact that [Wade] has only recently been able to come forward which is so typically characteristic and tragic for so many survivors of sexual abuse... Any trier of fact would conclude your statement was malicious, intended to further injure our client."
Of course, Joe Jackson isn't the only one who has slammed Robson for his allegation that Michael forced him to perform sex acts and keep quiet.
Debbie Lowe, the father of MJ's children, believes Robson is a liar; while Tom Meserea - a lawyer who defended The King of Pop in his 2005 molestation case - has also made his opinion quite clear.
"This is a pathetic and an obvious grab for publicity and an attempt to put pressure on [Michael Jackson's] Estate to pay him money," Meserea says of Robson's charge.
