The program confirmed the addition of six new cast members today, led by Beck Bennett, who is best known as the guy interview a group of kids in a series of hilarious AT&T commercials, our favorite of which is posted here:
With Cecily Strong in as the new Weekend Update anchor, here's a look at the other fresh faces that will stay up late on Saturday nights in 2013-2014:
- Brooks Wheelan: Wrote for College Humor, named as a Top 10 Artist to Watch by Comedy Central.
- John Milhiser: Brooklyn-born member of the Saturday Night Live sketch group.
- Kyle Mooney: Has conducted interview for Jimmy Kimmel Live, appeared on episodes of Wilfred and Parks and Recreation.
- Michael Patrick O'Brien: A writer for SNL since 2009.
- Noel Wells: Has been a performer at Los Angeles' Upright Citizens Brigade, and has appeared in indie films such as Forev and The Do-Deca-Pentathlon.
