J.J. Abrams is staying in the family for his costumes on Star Wars Episode VII.
Not only will the two biggest sci-fi franchises in history be handled by one director, but they'll also be designed by one costumer.
Michael Kaplan, the Costume Designer on Star Trek and Star Trek Into Darkness, has joined the production of Star Wars Episode VII.
Not a whole lot has been set in stone for Episode VII, though Jonathan Rhys Meyers is rumored to be in talks to star.
The film will reportedly follow the children of the original three protagonists, Luke, Leia, and Han.
Mark Hamill, Carrie Fisher, and Harrison Ford are also apparently in talks to return.
Star Wars Episode VIIÂ is preparing for a 2015 release date.
